Hallo zusammen,

ich war gerade mal wieder in den Weiten des World Wide Web unterwegs, als ich auf einen interessanten Artikel[1] gestoßen bin.
Auch wenn vieles nicht neu oder verwunderlich ist, so ist es dennoch interessant, welche Entwicklungen hier gibt.

Besonders Linux-Server-Systeme sollten auf eine "Härtung" Achten, damit diese neben ihren eigentlichen Aufgaben noch Produkt-Piraterie oder anderes unterstützen.

Viren und Würmer gab bzw. gibt es unter Linux schon seit Anbeginn, jedoch waren/sind sie dort eher Proof-Of-Concepts und treten/traten nur selten bzw. in geringer Anzahl auf.

Es scheint das Interesse auf Seiten von Angreifern zunehmend zu steigen, vor allem bei kriminellen Organisationen, denn hier eignen sich Linux-Server-Systeme bestens als Sprungbetretter bzw. wie es im Artikel heißt, als Generäle für Botnetze.

Das Microsoft Windows von den gleichen Gefahren betroffen ist und hier die kriminelle Energie ungemein größer ist als die, die bei Linux/Unix verwendet wird steht außer Frage, ist aber nicht Teil dieser Diskussion, die ich hier starten möchte.
