Hallo zusammen,
hier mal eine kleine Frage in die Runde, welche Chatsoftware ihr bevorzugt.
Bitte begründet eure Auswahl.
Ich nutze Kopete; sehr praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit Metakontakte zu erstellen, wodurch man mehrere Ressourcen einer Person zu einem Kontakt zusammenfassen kann (Beispiel: ICQ, Jabber und MSN einer Person bilden einen Metakontakt, in dem die Ressourcen, in dem Fall drei, angezeigt werden).
Darüber hinaus bietet mir Kopete eine relativ gute Unterstützung für Jabber (OpenPGP-Support), wodurch ich auf Psi ganz verzichten kann.
Unter Windows bevorzuge ich Trillian, wobei die Jabber-Unterstützung von Trillian miserabel ist (keine OpenPGP-Unterstützung, oft kommen Statusmeldungen nicht an, Probleme bei Authorizations usw.). |

Hi,
also ich benutze Kopte sowie auch Gaim.
Kopte gefällt mir aufgrund der OpenPGP Unterstützung und den weiteren nützlichen Plug-Ins sehr gut. Weiterhin unterstützt es meine favorisierten Protokolle (ICQ und Jabber).
Der Grund wieso ich auch Gaim benutze liegt eigentlich nur daran, das bei mir die Datenübertragung via ICQ nur bei Gaim gelingen will.
Unter Windows benutze ich für ICQ mittlerweile QIP und für Jabber nach wie vor PSI. QIP bietet nette Features die mir sehr gefallen, wie z.B. das Widerrufen einer Autorisierung sowie das Löschen aus der Kontaktliste von jmd. PSI eigentlich nur wegen der OpenPGP Unterstützung.
Ansich würde ich ja nur Jabber benutzen, aber es gibt halt immer noch zu viele, die ICQ verwenden, da sehe ich den großen Vorteil von Kopete mit seinen Metakontakten, wie Cerox oben schon erklärt hatte.

Ich nutze irssi für irc weil es Blowfish gut unterstützt,perlplugins hat und einfach 1337 ist^^ irssi.org
Ansonsten nehm ich kopete weil ich faul geworden bin und das imho ganz annehmbar ist,dadurch das es einen relativ großen Funkionsumfang hat |
